As part of Dublin Samaritans events for 'World Suicide Awareness Day'
‘Testimonies’ is an intimate and touching group of monologues based on the real life experiences of those who have lost a loved one to suicide. The performance will be followed by a post-show discussion with a counsellor as well as an invited panel of guest speakers from the Dublin Samaritans, the Irish Association of Suicidology and other organisations.
Presented by Dublin Samaritans, this event coincides with ‘World Suicide Awareness’ day on September 10th. Dublin Samaritans will also be holding an awareness week in Ballymun from 6th to 12th September. The aim of this week is to reach out to the entire community on emotional health issues, including suicide, and the availability of Samaritans to the community.
