‘Oska Bright’ is the first film festival anywhere in the world to be run by, and for, people with a learning disability. The Festival will present an enormous, exciting

and inspiring range of short films including animations, documentaries, a soap-opera and western, all created by film-makers with learning disabilities – offering a unique look at a cultural minority using film to express their diversity and power.
As part of the festival there will be a public talk at 3pm. Members of the ‘Oska Bright’ committee will provide a rare insight into the workings of ‘Oska Bright’.
All films will be subtitled in plain English, audio described and sign language interpreted. Each screening will show between 8-15 different films, with a total of 32 films being shown in 3 screenings over the course of the day.
