Meridian’s double bill combines two one act plays dealing with families sundered and re-united in bizarre circumstances.
‘Raccoon’, by Thomas Hall, tells the story of Saoirse who is offered the chance to re-construct her past and her future as a result of a chance encounter in the café where she works.
‘The Exit Wound’, by Johnny Hanrahan, creates an intense ritual of return for an
errant trad singer/storyteller who has been on the run from his wife and children for over forty years.
A number of tickets to the performance on Tuesday 12th of May will be made available for just €10 for patrons aged 55+, supported by Dublin City Council Arts Office and North West Area Community Section. Bookings for these tickets must be made at axis’ box office in person and allocation is strictly on a first-come first served basis, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment!
