axis is a Dublin Theatre based in Ballymun. The 220 seater Theatre space is a multi-purpose performance and conference space. This Dublin Theatre has hosts top class entertainment such as ‘From These Green Heights’ and ‘The Townlands of Brazil’ by Dermot Bolger which were written about the people and places of Ballymun and were produced and premièred at axis. The theatre is also used by local drama groups, for example, the Holding Court Theatre Company, whose pantomime attracts full houses over the Christmas period. Ticket prices are some of the lowest you will find for Dublin Theatre.
