Music Project for Young People
‘The Music Ensemble’, a new music project commences weekly from September. This project will see professional artsists with backgrounds in songwriting and sound recording, facilitating up to 25 young people. The participants will develop skills in writing, playing and recording their own individual and collaborative music/spoken word and songs. 'The Music Ensemble' has been developed from the success and the partnerships developed as part of 'Invent' and will culminate in a gala performance in January 2009. 'The Music Ensemble' is in association with the Ballymun Music Project and is funded through The Arts Council Young Ensemble Scheme.
