From New Bedford, USA to Fremantle, Australia, across the high seas on the whaling ship ‘Catalpa’.

The winners of the 2008 Allianz Business to Arts Awards were announced at the annual award ceremony and gala banquet on 17 June in the RDS. From a record 89 nominations, a 55% increase from 2007, 9 winning entries were celebrated.

Hip-Nós comes to Barrow Street Theatre, New York, for one night only so don’t miss one of the most interesting artistic collaborations to come out of Dublin, Ireland - fused with the fresh sounds of NYC artists. Presented by axis, ballymun in association with Barrow Street Theatre. Supported by Foras na Gaeilge, Finglas Youth Service and Culture Ireland.    



Near FM Sessions

The NEAR fm Sessions, in association with axis and with the support of the Broadcasting Commission of Irelands Sound and Vision fund, will be staging two nights of live music showcasing bands from Dublin’s Northside in a live setting.
