Hip-Nós @ VICAR ST.

Ireland’s own Sean-Nós meets Hip-Hop and Spoken Word from far flung places in a fusion of beats, dance, sounds and songs. ‘Hip-Nós’ is a unique event celebrating cultural diversity and Irish identity. Offering up a fresh mix of old and new, ‘Hip-Nós’ features Hip-Hop, Sean-Nós, Rap, Breakdancing and Spoken Word.

The Pictures: The Dead

‘The Pictures’ takes place in our theatre, so you can enjoy the big screen in comfort. Showing a wide variety of films, from classics to modern, there is something for everyone. There is one screening a month which is usually the last Monday of the month. With over 160 members, ‘The Pictures’ is more than just a film club, it has become a great social network for the over 55’s in Ballymun and the surrounding areas.

These workshops will be bi-lingual so you’re more than welcome to come along with your Gaeilge Líofa or your Cúpla Focail. Places are limited so book early!

Social drinking is almost an occupational necessity and one that the young couple adopt with ready ease. An exciting whirlwind of discovery begins to spiral out of control as the bottle takes its grip in this bristling, life-affirming and terrifying love story.
