November 26th 2009

Well the final rehearsal took place in axis on Wednesday night. A fabulous programme lined up for tomorrow night and some special guests. RTE Radio 1 will be at the gala concert and the RTE six one news took footage from rehearsals to hopefully broadcast tomorrow as well. Exciting.

More exciting is the extraordinary sound been made by the Sing Again project. Facilitators Janna and Alan have done an amazing job. A full house awaits in axis tomorrow night. Take a Bow. Photos and video will follow.

This axis project in assoc. with The National Chamber Choir and Dublin City Council Arts Office drew 16 singers from all areas of North West Dublin together in 2008 to work with Janna Mills and Alan Leech on developing their choral skills and then performing a special Christmas concert with the National Chamber Choir in December 2008.

After the success of last year this year we have 35 singers taking part with no room at the inn for nearly the same number again. This year the group who span all age groups and experience levels will work with Janna and Alan for 8 weeks and then perform with the full National Chamber Choir on the evening of November 27th in axis.
