To whet your appetite for the footage from Action which is being edited as I write. Here is a clip from Little Mun a previous digital media project that we developed and rolled out in 2006 in Trinity Comprehensive Transition year, this was funded through Dublin City Council Arts Office and was in association with Darklight Film Festival

 

 

April 3rd 2009

We are in the final stage of this project now. Artists Stephen Fagan, Elena Brossa and Peter Kelly are putting together the amazing work that the young people in Trinity Comprehensive, Margaret Aylwards, Ballymun Youthreach and bRYR produced during the project. We will be launching a dvd of the work before the end of the year and will post samples then

 

January 22nd 2009

Training started last night for Teachers, Youth leaders, Students and Volunteers in the usage of software and equipment that are being used on the project and will remain in axis as a resource to all the groups after the project finishes. Explorations in Adobe Flash, Film-making and much more.

Meanwhile all the groups are into production mode, bringing their storyboards to life.

December 18th 2008

Christmas Break time for this project from Friday. The storyboards are nearly complete from over 90 young people from Trinity Comprehensive, Margaret Aylwards, Ballymun Regional Youth Resource and Ballymun Youthreach who have been working over the last 4 weeks with our squad of flying facilitators, Emma Connors, Peter Kelly, Elena Brossa and Stephen Fagan.

All set now for the making of new animated and digital media pieces from January. Watch out for the outcomes of this exciting project which we hope to post here in mid February
